Software Developer - Intermediate

Equifax's Core Software Engineering (CSE) group delivers market leading software solutions in the areas of Risk Decisioning, Account Acquisition, Account Management and Identity Management. Equifax CSE is seeking a Software Developer with strong Java development skills who will help with development and maintenance efforts of one or more products within Decision Management Product Suite as well assist with any problems or technical risks throughout the project. The Software Developer is expected to conceptualize software solutions into user-friendly software applications and pay close attention to details. The successful candidate should demonstrate innovation, constant learning, self-motivation and effective team participation. Good communication and interpersonal skills are required. The candidate should demonstrate a willingness to share knowledge, possess excellent listening skills and strong analytical skills. The candidate must be able to work effectively under project and daily deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Develop JAVA code for enterprise Spring applications.
* Participate in the gathering and reviewing of business requirements.
* Use object-oriented techniques and software engineering best practices for coding, unit-testing, and re-factoring
* Participate in researches to find technical solutions to business problems

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent with relevant 1+ years of work-study and/or internship experience
* Or Master's degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent
* Or 1-3 years of relevant application development experience

WORK EXPERIENCE:

* Minimum of 1-3 years of application development experience (internship and/or work-study included with bachelor's degree.)
* Good understanding of Java coding fundamentals and open source technologies.
* Understanding of agile software development methodologies.
