Job Description

Enviva is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Corporate Development Team.

* Perform administrative and office support activities, including: fielding telephone calls; managing calendars; coordinating meetings and conference calls; arranging domestic and international travel; reporting expenses; preparing, reviewing and editing documents such as letters, contracts, spreadsheets, and presentations; and creating, tracking, and maintaining electronic and paper filing systems.
* Assist with ongoing projects, including creating presentations, performing research projects, and coordinating resources.
* Provide clerical support such as printing documents, binding presentations, filing documents, etc.
* Act as a gatekeeper who proactively manages schedules.
* Complete ad hoc administrative requests in a timely and thorough manner.
* Partner with administrative team to provide seamless coverage to all executives.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree preferred.
* Minimum of six months of administrative experience. Preferred administrative experience supporting a legal or contracts team.
* Highly organized, with exceptional attention to detail.
* Strong oral and written communication skills and exceptional computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, juggle multiple projects, and assume additional responsibilities over time.
* Demonstrated sound judgment and ability to reach decisions independently.
* Ability to develop solid, trusted relationships.
* Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrated positive customer service attitude.
* Ability to adapt well to changing plans and priorities.
* Strict confidentiality standards.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule as business dictates.
