Job Summary/Purpose:

  1. Responsible for processing records and other documentation Provide general administrative support as needed
  2. Assist with other administrative related tasks as directed by manager
  3. Must be able to work in accordance with policies and procedures

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  1. Records processing – print, input, scan, review, analyze, and make any necessary corrections.
  2. Run any reports that are required to support the department
  3. Scan and save important documents appropriate drive and folder
  4. Order office supplies as needed
  5. Scan and save approved overtime forms; send scanned forms to Payroll Coordinator
  6. Assist department with copying/printing needs
  7. Participate on the Emergency Response team
  8. Other duties as assigned by manager
  9. Obtain and Maintain CPC card

Minimum education required of the position:

High School diploma or equivalent

Desired: Associate degree in a technical field (accounting, finance, Business Administration and Secretary Science)

Testing Required:

EEI SASS TEST required

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:

Individual must be dependable, self-motivated, positive attitude, goal oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks with little supervision.  Strong computer skills required, including Microsoft Office.  Must possess strong written and oral communication skills and have the ability to maintain confidentially at all times. A thorough knowledge with demonstrated understanding and appreciation of Entergy’s safe work practices is a must. Excellent oral and written communication skills required, as well as good analytical and organizational skills.  Individual must be able to work effectively as a team player and have excellent communication and customer service skills.  Individual must be able to handle multiple assignments and work within deadlines
