Enel X, part of the Enel Group - one of the world's largest energy companies, is focused on developing new, value-added services for more empowered energy consumers through innovative products and solutions for businesses, residential customers, governments, and the transportation sector. A leading provider of demand response and energy efficiency solutions, we are looking for interns to join our Order Processing team. This position is ideal for individuals who want to make an immediate impact within a leading clean technology company. The ideal Business Operations Co-op will be detail-oriented and analytically-driven, with proven success in delivering quality outcomes within deadline-driven environments. The Intern will enjoy working in a rapidly-evolving industry that is transforming the way we use energy, and will be comfortable solving complex problems and communicating solutions effectively to other teams within the organization. This full time (40 hours/week) internship will run from (January - July)


Key Responsibilities: - Review sales contracts with commercial and industrial customers, ensuring that internal databases accurately record our financial and operational obligations - Enforce internal policies and procedures regarding pricing, approvals, and legal terms - Communicate directly with the Sales team to address issues and ensure contractual requirements are understood - Maintain quick turnaround of executed contracts back to customers - Facilitate communication between internal teams including Sales, Energy Markets, Finance, Legal, and Operations as needed to resolve complex issues - Perform other duties as required


Required Qualifications: - Pursuing a B.A. or B.S. undergraduate degree or a recent grad - Extraordinary attention to detail and organizational skills - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills - Excellent computer skills, including Windows and Microsoft Excel - Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, and exercise excellent judgment - Highly motivated, proactive, and energetic - Ability to function efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment Desired Qualifications: - Prior experience within and/or demonstrated passion for the clean tech sector - Experience with SalesForce.com, CRM systems, or object-oriented databases - Familiarity or experience with legal documents
