OverviewEnel X, a leading provider of demand response and energy efficiency solutions, has a need for a part-time Accounts Payable Intern to join our world-class Finance organization. As the Accounts Payable Intern you will report to the Accounts Payable Manager. The ideal candidate will be available to work throughout the fall (July - December). QualificationsAbout You: - BS Business Administration with a concentration in Finance &/or Accountancy (3rd or 4th year) or MBA/MST/MSA candidate - Must be available during fall and spring semesters - Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy & consistency in both preparing and reviewing work. - Team player with effective written and verbal communication skills - Positive, professional demeanor; self-motivated Above and Beyond: - Prior experience in a corporate finance setting a plus - Passion for the energy industry and energy conservation - Strong self-motivation with the ability to work in a fast-paced, forward-moving environment - Strong customer relations skills Responsibilities- Meet time-sensitive deadline and work in a fast-paced and fluid environment - Manage and enter a high volume of vendor invoices - Provide customer service to field questions and expedite payments for internal stakeholders across segments of the organization - Provide customer service to vendors and other external customers - Establish strong working relationships with all PO requisitioners, vendor relationship owners, and vendors as needed - Correspond via phone, email, and personal interactions - Assist in the processing and filing of 1099s and other tax and financial close activities - Exercise discretion and strong business judgment when handling confidential information - Additional duties as required
