The Automation Solutions Cybersecurity Program Manager is a blended Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) role responsible for coordinating and promoting cybersecurity activities across the Automation Solutions Platform and Business Units. The Program Manager is responsible for awareness and adoption of cybersecurity development processes, tools, technology and methods that achieve secure product, services and solutions that serve our customer verticals in the broad Process Automation industries. The Program Manager understands the driving forces behind organizational behavior and will collect and analyze metrics related to program initiatives and sustaining efforts. The Program Manager is a cross business unit central point of coordination of policy implementation, compliance and reporting with various stake holders across business units, groups and the Emerson Automation Solutions platform.

Responsibilities

* Coordinate and manage implementation of practices and tools aligned with cybersecurity policy
* Participate in key projects to organize processes and manage appropriate subject matter expert involvement in product Risk Assessments and Threat Modeling efforts
* Establish and maintain cybersecurity program work and service engagement processes
* Assist in organizing Cybersecurity functional team and program meetings to expand and sustain efforts
* Create, organize and participate in cross functional and business unit communities to promote the adoption of cybersecurity best practices
* Maintain relative artifacts and central repository of communications and information for Automation Solutions Cybersecurity function and teams
* Assist with analyzing relative cybersecurity market and technology trends
* Collaborate with Development Lab leaders on consistent configurations and testing processes
* Assists with identifying relative training and development needs for various organizational functions specific to cybersecurity roles and functions and maintaining metrics on coverage
* Maintain familiarity with industry standards such as IEC 62443 (ISA99) and ISO/IEC 27001
* Responsible for maintaining inventory of relative assets across platform (external code, tools, vendors, licenses, etc. relative to functional needs and response requirements
* Assist with responding to customer qualification inquiries relative to cybersecurity
* Assist with vendor relationship management pertinent to cybersecurity technology and efforts

Additional Information

* Up to 35% travel may be required.
* Relocation assistance is not available.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline
* 6 years of experience with program or project management including risk management
* Experience with Project Management and Product Development processes like Agile and Stage Gate
* Ability to organize, prepare and make compelling presentations
* Familiarity with Microsoft tools for effective communications and information management (Office 365, Teams, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, etc)
* Self-motivated and able to work under tight timelines
* Strong problem solving / interaction management skills
* Strong organizational and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

* Experience in software security design principles, best practices and the integration of security into preexisting development practices
* Risk Management Framework and Processes experience
* Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and initiatives, or, practical work experience related to the implementation of cybersecurity solutions. Familiar with concepts such as "defense in depth" and Secure Development Lifecycle
* Experience with industrial control system cybersecurity standards (e.g. IEC 62443)
* Knowledge of security standards and technology trends in current cybersecurity issues, including those specific to control systems
* Experience working with recognized security related technologies
* Cybersecurity certifications like CISSP or GICSP with 3 years of experience in related roles
