Job Description

Under the minimum supervision of the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Supervisor completes financial reporting requirements and

analysis. The Accounting Supervisor will assist the Accounting Manager in the management of the general accounting functions and reporting and ensures compliance with generally accepted accounting procedures.

Responsibilities include:

* Maintain General Ledger and Hyperion reporting

* Responsible for general accounting functions- journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet accounts, bank reconciliations, unvouchered analysis, inventory in transit calculation, etc.

* Responsible for the following month end duties: coordinate billings, statements, confirmations, and review financial statements

* Assist with the annual strategic plan and budget.

* Provide direction and development to direct reports and oversee Accounts Payable function

* Prepare weekly update of orders, sales, and backlog information

* Complete monthly, quarterly, and year end reports required by Corporate

* Assist with the federal, state, and international income tax packages.

* Complete monthly management reports- research actual to plan variances

* Manage ad-hoc requests and questions from other departments within the company

* Interface with finance personnel around the world

* Review and approve quick pay checks as requested

* Load Hyperion actuals

* Prepare various quarterly and yearly reports

* May perform other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

* Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.

* 2 - 3 years leadership/supervisory accounting role.

* Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.

* Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Applications.

* Experience with Oracle and/or HFM preferred.

* Possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

* Ability to meet deadlines.

* Ability to maintain confidential information.
