Distribution Operations Analyst

The responsibilities include driving improved service quality, operational efficiency, process improvements and cost reduction within our current and future Distribution Centers. You would collect and analyze data related to operations of these Distribution Centers as well as research service errors and identify root cause. You would recommend corrective actions plans based on statistical analysis and Lean/Six Sigma approaches and lead quality and continuous improvement projects. The goal is to measure productivity and recommend process improvement programs. You would partner with all areas of Supply Chain to implement problem resolutions as well as:

* Collect, track, trend, analyze and report Distribution Center activity data. Partner with Ops teams to create tools / reports to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness
* Possess a sound understanding of data elements
* Design and administer Distribution Reports with a focus on data accuracy and consistency, effectively prioritizing high importance data requests
* Act as the liaison between Distribution and Customer Service to align on improvement plans
* Apply Process Excellence (Lean/Six Sigma) tools and methodology to identify, evaluate, and recommend business process and system improvement opportunities. Develop project plans, including objectives and benefits analyses. Lead / participate in process improvement teams that involve and impact internal and external customers.
* Continually improves expertise in process improvement and analytical techniques, remain current in business knowledge of industry dynamics, and act as resource to Distribution organization in sharing this information


* College Degree preferred with a focus in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics or Industrial Engineering
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a data management or analytical role preferred
* Intermediate knowledge of Oracle/SAP WMS, Tableau, and Microsoft Office Suite
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Intermediate project management/implementation experience preferred
* Basic understanding of Lean/Six Sigma management methodology
* Strong analytical, critical thinking, research and problem-solving skills required
* Strong communication skills with the ability to relate to all levels of the organization
