Job Description

Overview

The Business Analyst- Early Career Rotation is a rotational program within the Finance department which will provide the foundation for a successful career at Elbit Systems of America. This position is designed to accelerate professional growth by providing training, exposure and experience in a variety of key functional areas that impact our business. This position will offer the unique opportunity to learn the company and finance aspects of business from the ground up by playing an important part in financial planning, financial reporting, accounting, treasury, pricing, program planning and control (PP&C) and internal audit teams. This individual will be placed directly in a role and will have immediate responsibility, empowering you to have an impact at Elbit Systems of America at the onset. You will have the opportunity to learn from a team built of successful professionals in a company excited about creating a learning environment. By the end of the rotational program, participants who have demonstrated exceptional performance and leadership will have the opportunity to be placed into a role within the business based on their accomplishments as well as current business need. Potential roles at the end of the assignment include, but are not limited to, financial analyst, program manager, pricer, buyer, business development manager.

Responsibilities

Within our program we have a Business Analyst role that will consist of assignments throughout the Finance function. Your growth as a business professional will include several foundational experiences.

Assignments will be 4 to 6 months in duration within the following areas of discipline:

* Financial Planning
* Financial Reporting
* Accounting
* Treasury
* Program Planning and Control (PP&C)
* Pricing
* Audit

Rotations may be in any Elbit America location throughout the continental US, but will start in our Corporate Headquarters in Fort Worth, TX.

* Interaction with various teams across the businesses
* One-on-one mentoring with experienced internal leaders
* Challenging projects that foster innovative and creative thinking
* Exposure to senior level management
* Opportunities to participate in leadership development activities and networking events

Qualifications

Bachelor in Finance or Business required, Masters a plus

3-5 years functional experience may substitute

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required (Unique and Measurable):

* Must be self motivated, results oriented and able to execute duties with minimal supervision
* Ability to link short term objectives with long-term goals in the overall strategic plan
* Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills; ability to analyze data
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Intermediate computer skills required with knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and web conferencing/training
* Flexibility to relocate as necessary during rotational program and/or for first job assignment at the completion of the program. First job assignment locations will be determined pending business needs.
* Prior internship and work experience
* Effectively model the ethics and integrity of ESA in all dealings, both inside and outside of ESA-FWO.
