Position Overview

As a member of the Edison International team, the JuniorFinancial Analyst will focus on Financial Planning & Analysis activitiesand will gain exposure to the various functions in Finance and Accounting whileanalyzing financial data, modeling and forecasting in direct support ofCompany's short and long-term strategic plan. The position will require interfacing with Southern California Edisonand Edison Energy to forecast consolidated monthly financial forecasts, long-termfinancial performance and assisting with planning, reporting and decisionmaking, including determination of credit and liquidity needs of the Company tofund its dividends, operations and investments while maintaining its capitalstructure. The successful candidate willalso have future growth opportunities to work directly with senior managers andexecutives of the Strategic Planning, Corporate Development and CorporateFinance groups to execute on a range of M&A, early stage investment,financing and strategic planning activities.

Typicalresponsibilities include:

* Support the EIX consolidated financialplanning model in accordance to our business review and update process


* Support the preparation and distribution ofour EIX monthly outlooks including financial, liquidity and stock performanceupdates


* Develop and analyze financial information suchas models, charts, tables and other exhibits in support of broader FP&Aanalysis and issue resolution


* Prepare and maintain presentation materials summarizingfindings, data, analysis and recommendations in a clear and logical manner, fordiscussion with working teams, presentation to senior management and externalclients


* Conduct financial research and/or economicanalysis, competitive landscape assessments and benchmarking of companiesthrough several means, including subject matter expert interviews, review ofindustry reports, literature search, and insights from conferences/webinarsamong others


* Ensure accuracy and integrity of theunderlying data


* Work with FP&A team members to developprocess improvements and enhanced data integration



MinimumQualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in business, economics,finance, accounting, or a related discipline
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Excel,PowerPoint, and Word

DesiredQualifications:

* One (1) or more years of experience in financial, quantitative or operational analysis including analyzing complex business and/or regulatory problems
* Strong academic or professional experienceutilizing financial analysis techniques, tools and concepts to assemble,analyze, and draw conclusions from business data
* Willingness to learn how to use new tools,techniques, and skills
* Proven time management skills; ability to managemultiple simultaneous projects and adapt to high paced working environment
* Discretion in handling sensitive Company,department and individual performance information
* Ability to work independently to gather,analyze, organize, design and present
