Job Description

Pitt County Government - 1717 West 5th Street, Greenville, NC 27834 -- is currently seeking a Pitt County Public Information Office (PIO) Intern to support the Communications Specialist in all mission areas to achieve the public relations objectives of Pitt County Government. Duties include, but are not limited to: assisting with video, audio, and presentation production, producing publications, and performing any general administrative office duties necessary. The PIO Intern will assist the Communications Specialist with the creation of print publications including, but not limited to, internal and external newsletters and various periodicals. The intern will assist with the production of video programs, commercials and presentations, PowerPoint presentations, and the coordination of cable casting County events. This position must assist as needed during morning or evening hours with setting up and operating equipment for the live broadcast of County meetings. AAH Academic Affairs
