As a Wine Tech at our Ranch Winery, you will under general supervision, participate in complex phases of winemaking processes as well as the care, maintenance, and sanitation of all equipment and facilities. You will adhere to all safety procedures, support quality and GMP standards.

What You Will Do

  • Operate white and red grape receiving equipment, as well as cleanings press equipment
  • Perform all work order entry into WineManager and AMS
  • Ensure all additions to juice or wine are made accurately, per the work orders
  • Complete red and white juice racking
  • Conduct red fermentation processes per the SOP’s and the daily fermentation log
  • Perform barrel fills, barrel topping, barrel SO2 addition, barrel ingredient additions and barrel out and back duties

What You Need

  • High school diploma or GED plus 2 years of wine production experience
  • Required to roll and move 70 pound wine barrels and lift product and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Required to work a rotating shift/schedule throughout the year (day, swing, graveyard, 5x8); required to work weekends and overtime when necessary
  • Required to stand for the duration of shift (8-12 hours excluding breaks and lunch)
  • Required to wear a respirator when necessary
  • Required to undertake onsite forklift and scissor lift certification
  • Required to work at elevated heights and in confined spaces

What Will Set You Apart

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution plus 3 years of wine production experience
