Job Description

"We Change Lives." Walt Disney Imagineering is the master planning, creative development, design, engineering, production, project management, and research and development arm of The Walt Disney Company. Its talented corps of Imagineers is responsible for the creation - from concept initiation through installation - of all Disney Resorts, theme parks and attractions, real estate developments, regional entertainment venues, and new media projects.

What you bring to the role…

* Ability to understand and implement the basics for control system design
* Some knowledge and familiarity with relevant industrial standards
* Experience with programmable logic controllers and general purpose computers that are used in industrial applications
* Ability to assist in the writing of technical documents such as Theory of Operations and Acceptance Test Procedures
* Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher or graduated within the past 6 months from an accredited college/university earning a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related
* Control Systems Engineering and/or Control Theory coursework

You will…

* Be part of an engineering team in the design of hardware development, prototyping, simulation, capacity optimization, and facility inputs for a specific attraction
* Uphold ride engineering policies and procedures at a department level
* Review hardware designs for Disney's ride control systems
