DirectEd has the following School Nurse positions available:

* Immediate opening: Full time, Central Los Angeles
* 2019-2020 school year: Full time, East Los Angeles

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
* A valid Registered Nurse License in California
* Current Certification in CPR
* Must posses a credential with a School Nurse authorization OR be eligible for a School Nurse service credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
* A valid Audiometry certification

Candidates who do not meet the minimum qualifications listed above will not be considered.

Who you are

A School Nurse who can assist with the implementation of health service programs that meet the needs of students, as well as legal requirements through consultation, direct services and evaluations. In addition, you can conduct schoolwide screenings, and supervise the school nursing team. You are someone who is comfortable and adaptable to working with diverse student populations and schools.

A team of Special Education providers that partner with K-12 schools and districts to provide special education services. Each team member is assigned a lead that provides support with weekly check-ins and helps to assure that we provide high quality services and continue to develop as professionals.
