Dewberry | Preble-Rish is currently seeking a Site/Civil Project Engineer / Project Manager in our Fort Walton Beach, FL office. The successful candidate will work on land development and municipal engineering projects including storm water management systems design, water management district and FDEP permitting, utility design (water & wastewater), erosion and sediment control design as part of a multi-disciplinary group. The successful candidate must be flexible, technologically savvy and client focused.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities are diverse and ranges from general civil engineering duties to technical work that requires strong capabilities in AutoCAD, Carlson Civil Suite, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.

Additional duties include:

* Responsible for the project design.
* Lead and facilitate civil engineering design staff.
* Meet project and client deadlines.
* Work in a timely fashion to meet project budgets.
* Prepare graphics, exhibits, and site/civil construction plans.
* Compose technical reports, memorandums and other written communications.

Required Skills & Required Experience

* BS degree in Civil Engineering.
* Minimum 8 years' experience of increasing levels of project and client responsibilities required.
* Florida PE is required.
* Ability to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, and county/agency review staff.
* Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
