Job Description

We are Germany’s leading bank with strong positions in Europe and significant presence in the Americas and Asia Pacific. We’re driving growth through our strong client franchise, investing heavily in digital technologies, prioritising long-term success over short-term gains, and serving society with ambition and integrity. That means a career packed with opportunities to grow and the chance to shape the future of our clients.

About your internship
Join us and you will be an integral part of our team. Over ten intensive weeks you will experience what it’s like to work for our international bank. You will go through two job rotations and gain a wide range of practical experience. During your internship, you will also benefit from training courses, seminars and a variety of networking events. Successful interns will be invited to join the Deutsche Bank Graduate Programme.

About CIB: Fixed Income & Currencies Research
Part of the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB), Fixed Income & Currencies brings together a top-ranked institutional sales force, world-class research with trading and structuring expertise across Foreign Exchange, Rates, Credit and Emerging Markets.

Deutsche Bank’s Research team offers truly global and industry knowledge. Our comprehensive, in-depth, multi-asset-class research product means we consistently outperform competitors. Our teams deal with a range of functions from asset allocation to economic forecasting and cover all major global industry sectors.

The role
Based in one of the world’s global financial centres, you’ll have real impact in the team, often contributing to actual publications. The groups you work in will depend on your interests and our business needs but whether you’re analyzing markets, communicating with clients or contributing to reports, you’ll benefit from intensive mentoring and structured feedback. Your learning curve will be steep, but you’ll also have plenty of support and guidance from senior managers and mentors.

The internship is an ideal way of finding out whether a career in Fixed Income & Currencies Research meets your needs and aspirations.

Your qualifications
We are looking for bright minds with excellent academic records and some practical work experience to create a positive impact for our customers.
? Are you passionate about finance?
? Do you have some experience abroad?
? Do you have an academic focus on business or natural science, particularly business administration, economics, (industrial) engineering, (business) informatics, (business) mathematics or a comparable subject?
? Do you have strong communication skills and are you fluent in English?
? Can you work well in a team and inspire others with your ideas?
? Would you describe yourself as a conscientious, dedicated individual with excellent analytical skills with an eye for detail?

Then we look forward to meeting you!
