This position is located in Transmission Strategy & Business Management (TAS), Chief of Staff (TA), Transmission Services (T), Bonneville Power Administration. A successful candidate in this position will supervise a staff of specialists performing administrative work to evaluate Transmission project business proposals, plan and oversee project execution, and coordinate on the integration of business operations consistent with T's strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities

As a Supervisory Business Analyst, you will:

* Provide administrative and technical supervision to a team of subject-matter experts responsible for leading, planning, and executing approved business operations and change initiatives consistent with T's strategic business objectives.


* Establish work priorities, issue guidance and instructions, assign work, evaluate performance, provide counseling on technical and administrative matters, recognize achievement, initiate disciplinary actions, participate in the interviewing and hiring of new employees, make recommendations regarding promotions and reassignments, and implement career development and training programs.


* Provide leadership and support in administering the Bonneville EEO program for applicants and employees. Provide and ensure fair and equitable treatment for all employees in implementing HR policies and practices including recruitment, selection, placement counseling, training, career development promotion and adverse action, and communicate support of these policies to staff members.

This is a temporary promotion, not to exceed one (1) year, may be extended up to five (5) years total; may be made permanent without further competition. Qualifications

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) in the Federal service.

Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Lead a project or team or serve as a technical expert (1) evaluating proposed and in-flight business initiatives to ensure outcomes can be successfully managed, integrated and implemented, and (2) planning and executing project milestones, schedules and tasks to ensure successful completion of assigned initiatives.

There is no substitution of education for experience at the GS-14 level.
