Job Description

Clerical Positions

Winter Park Clinic Winter/Summer Intermittent Position Winter Park Pass Available. Shifts & Hours vary / 7 days a week 8am-6pm / 2-4 days a week, 145 Parsenn Rd. Winter Park, CO. 

Job Summary 

Under general supervision, performs a variety of clerical duties for the assigned clinic including; but not limited to: patient registration, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, collection of co-pays, timely updating of all pertinent patient record demographic information, telephone answering an clinic reception functions. Responsibilities may include maintenance of medical records, and cash handling/reporting. Assists in the process to re-engage and maintain patients in care.

Minimum Qualifications 

Education: Graduation from high school or possession of a GED certificate required. 

Experience: Typically, three years of related/relevant experience.  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Basic knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications , in particular, Microsoft Windows, MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel). Accurate data entry, typing a minimum of 25 words per minute (WPM), and familiarity of various office equipment. Excellent customer services, telephone and reception skills. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, organization and problem solving skills. Ability to prioritize work activities and easily adapt to change. Good interpersonal human relation skills.
