Work you'll do

As a Manager within our Service Operations team, you will:

* Organize and deliver services on a cross-section of complex projects

* Actively participate in the development of business and vendor relationships

* Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process

* Design and optimize business processes in support of overall business operations and technology enablement, utilization and adoption

* Responsible for project(s) financials including development of financial plans

* Manages day-to-day interactions with clients and internal Deloitte team

* Displays both breadth and depth of knowledge regarding functional and technical issues

* Displays leadership and business judgment in anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutions

* Provide counseling/coaching, oversight, and support for delivery teams and staff

* Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities providing input and guidance into the staffing process

* Focus on managed revenue targets as well as achieving quarterly or yearly sales objectives for new business

* Lead business development initiatives to grow the Service Operations team and the Federal practice

* Manage resources and budget on client projects

* Develop and maintain the Program IMS utilizing MS Project
* Provide program scheduling support expertise to monitor, update, and control program activities
* Collaborate and interface with SI and all external stakeholders to review and provide comments to their respective schedules.
* Participate and/or facilitate weekly schedule working group meetings.
* Integrate SI IMS/IMP for Increment II releases, two through five, as well as all external stakeholders schedules to the program IMS/IMP
* Facilitate schedule working group meetings
* Establish and monitor program activities for milestones, key events, and significant accomplishment criteria
* Perform schedule health check and ensure the schedule is in compliance with the GAO schedule best practices and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) schedule assessment guidelines.
* Develop and manage schedules that effectively communicate to all levels of the project team and stakeholders.
* Provide assessment and analysis of the IMS
* Provide management briefing pertaining to the program as needed.
* Provide support to the Cost and Schedule branch as needed
* Support Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) as required
* Develop and maintain IMP

Our Service Operations team provides expertise to Federal clients facing budgetary constraints by helping them define, implement, and sustain workable improvements within their environment. Our Service Operations professionals bring strong domain knowledge, and expertise in project management, business process re-engineering, performance management, and operations management to help our clients meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving business landscape.



* Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or other business-related field

* 6+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience

* 2+ years in a technical or functional lead role

* Experience mentoring and coaching others

* Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

* Experience managing senior-level client relationships

* Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)

* Pre-sales, proposal, and RFP experience

* Ability to obtain and maintain the required Security Clearance for this role


* Prior professional services or federal consulting experience

* Lean Six Sigma Certification

* Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree

* Previous experience with value stream mapping and predictive modeling
