Vacancy Announcement - Assistant/Associate Professor, Anatomy and Physiology (Tenure-Track)

Delaware State University (DSU) invites applications for a tenure track Assistant/Associate professor position beginning in August 2019. The tenure home for this position is the Department of Biological Sciences and applicants must have a Ph.D. Physiology, Anatomy, or related field, Related academic, research, and/or field experience in forensic science is desired.

Primary teaching responsibilities include existing anatomy and physiology courses for nursing majors and for biology/health professions majors. Experience with software packages utilized routinely for nursing majors (e.g. NCLEX, BioPac, iWorks, APR Virtual Dissection Software) and other instructional tools related to Anatomy and Physiology is highly desired. College expectations include mentoring students, teaching general education courses as needed and establishing an undergraduate and graduate research program supported by external funding. Applicants at a senior level must have a record of research excellence, a history of external funding, and a strong record of mentoring students.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply.
