Job Posting Title:Team Lead - Personalized Learning - School Psychologist & Social Worker Job Description:Leads and facilitates district level support for school social workers and school psychologists. Develops and promotes good community relations among various district and community stakeholders. Position Specific Information (if Applicable): Responsibilities: Assist with induction for new school psychologists and school social workers Assist with systems to ensure timeliness and consistency of communication to school psychologists and school social workers district-wide, including maintenance of mental health websites Collaborate with developing and delivering professional development to school psychologists and school social workers regarding Response to Intervention (RTI) within the Multi Tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS) framework, special education process, evaluation and eligibility, social/emotional IEP goal development, data collection and progress monitoring, and indirect and direct related mental health services Collaborate with preschool, elementary, middle and high school level school psychologists and school social workers to implement processes and monitor consistency of practice Collaborate with preschool, elementary, middle and high school level school psychologists and school social workers to monitor fidelity of implementation of service delivery model pertinent to area of expertise, to ensure all student needs are appropriately identified and services are provided as outlined through the IEP Provide technical assistance to school psychologists and school social workers regarding social/emotional session planning, and documentation of services through formal case notes Provide technical assistance to school psychologists and school social workers regarding manifestation determination procedure Assist in projections and planning for needs/resources, oversee inventory and purchasing of assessment materials Collaborate with Medicaid reimbursement program team to maximize Medicaid reporting Provide direct support to school psychologist and school social workers for complex cases, as pertinent and requested by supervisor Provide direct support to schools during absences of a school psychologist or school social worker, as pertinent and requested by supervisor Assist with supervision of school psychology and school social worker practicum and intern students Perform other related duties as assigned or requested May be required to travel within district boundaries Evaluation of classified staff, as pertinent Screening and hiring of highly qualified staff Assist with identifying and building supports related to mental health services at the universal, targeted, and intensive levels Assist with staffing for school psychologists and school social workers district-wide, including screening and hiring staff and identifying mentors for new mental health providers Certifications:Special Service Provider License in Counseling or Social Work - Colorado Department of Education Education:Master's Degree: Psychology, Master's Degree: Social Work Position Type:Regular Primary Location:VARIABLE LOCATION EMPLOYEE - SPED One Year Only (Yes or No):No Scheduled Hours Per Week:40 FTE:1 Approx Scheduled Days Per Year: (260 days indicates a year-round position.
