WEB ADMINISTRATOR III
David Evans and Associates is currently seeking a Web SharePoint Administrator III to join our project team with our client in Vancouver, WA. The Web/SharePoint Administrator will provide support to the Transmission Field Services Internal Operations organization (TFB) and specifically, the Asset Data Management (ADM) team.
Position Responsibilities include but not limited to:
In support of Transmission Field Services, the Web/SharePoint Administrator III will:
Design SharePoint solutions from conception to implementation Develop SharePoint-based solutions from "user needs" in an Internet enabled application environment Distinguish key interactions and connectives among enterprise Internet enabled applications solutions Perform typical administrative and maintenance activities such as site creation, and permission management Administer general system monitoring and verification Act as a point-of-contact to troubleshoot SharePoint Services, sites and permissions, and other application and server issues Recommend and apply configuration settings to meet business needs and security requirements Create and administer enterprise search solutions using the Sharepoint search capabilities Provide support for both IT and business users for SharePoint sites. Create Word documents, InfoPath forms, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations and Visio flowcharts to document the designed SharePoint solutions and design appropriate training presentations and curriculum. Support existing business systems and their users. Administer general system monitoring and verification Communicate with a wide variety of technical and business experts in both individual and group settings. Provide formal training sessions to entry, mid, and advanced level users in both individual and small to large group settings Perform typical administrative and maintenance activities such as site creation, permission management, backup/restore Create and administer enterprise search solutions using the Sharepoint search capabilities Provide support for both IT and business users for SharePoint sites. Support existing ADM SharePoint sites and their users.
10+ years of experience in an enterprise web environment with 5+ years supporting SharePoint technologies is required . Undergraduate or Masters College Degree in computer science, information technology or a related technical field is highly preferred. In lieu of degree, an equivalent of 4 additional years of experience (14+ years total) in an enterprise web environment with 7+ years supporting SharePoint technologies is required . Microsoft certification in SharePoint and/or Web Administration (MSCE) is desirable.
Expert level knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 and supporting technologies Working experience in training, support, and trouble-shooting for end-users Working knowledge of content management, document management, and records management within a SharePoint environment Technical requirements gathering skills in the Information Technology environment Experience with Infopath and workflow solutions Experience with SharePoint Designer 2010 Site Workflow Solutions Experience with search administration Experience configuring and supporting SharePoint web applications, permissions, site collections, search, and web parts Experience with SharePoint 2007 and/or 2010 Enterprise Services: Excel Services, Form Services, Business Connectivity Services, Web Services. A working knowledge of SQL databases is highly desirable. Knowledge of software design concepts and methods including SDLC Communication skills including training and technical documentation Experience providing training either individually or in large groups to entry, mid, and advanced level users
