Job Description

This position will be assigned to 1st Shift:  7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with overtime as needed.

Assist with all departmental operations, decision making responsibilities, staffing and coverage needs focused on incoming/outgoing shipments, inventory of finished goods, and customer service.

Day-to-Day Role:

  • Comply with good manufacturing practices (GMP) as required.
  • Comply with Dart Container's policies and procedures.
  • Oversee day to day operations of the Systems Office including coordinating and prioritizing daily tasks and assignments for the warehouse schedulers.
  • Conduct adequate office staffing coverage of duties in order to achieve smooth operations.
  • Coordinate with distribution center supervisor and schedulers to meet shipping schedule requirements.
  • Perform a variety of computer generated tasks in SAP WMS and SAP ERP.
  • Communicate with other departments who impact the shipping and receiving of finished goods.
  • Communicate with the IT and Supply Chain groups and assists with office equipment maintenance, including repairs and upgrades.
  • Conduct proper training of department staff and ensuring that all employees have knowledge of, understanding and adherence to safety rules.
  • Maintain overall cleanliness of the Systems Office.


Core Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:

  • Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to work weekends as needed.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, including the ability to review and analyze data.
  • Good math, organizational, customer service and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge or experience with warehouse management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
