Danfoss in Ames, Iowa is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Smart Factories team as a Data Science/Anomaly Detection Intern for Summer 2020. This intern will make an immediate impact revolutionizing the ways we manufacture our products. With our ongoing digital transformation to Industry 4.0, we are gaining access to data and unique insights into manufacturing processes that we never had before. The abundance of data from a variety of sources is creating opportunities in Big Data, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence that make this data actionable with immediate impact and value.

BACKGROUND & SKILLS

* Pursing a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or Mathematics
* Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with knowledge in areas of ML, AI & Big Data
* Ability to work and collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team
* Understanding and/or experience with IoT
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Highly motivated individual with can-do attitude
