Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an entry level Test Engineer to join our team in Beaverton, OR . This role plans, designs, and implements procedures for the test and evaluation of new and existing products, including specifications for tests to be performed and specifications/requirements for test equipment.

Primary Responsibilities :

Review and evaluate new product designs or changes in existing designs:

Determine calibration specifications, functional and/or environmental test requirements and need for test requirements, equipment, and facilities.
Generate test plans.
Propose and coordinate design changes to improve product performance and manufacturability.
Provide technical assistance and conduct training in the operation and test of new products with test personnel.
Specify and/or design factory test procedures and related documentation:

Monitor progress of tests for validity of test conditions, means of measurement and performance of component or unit in relation to specifications.
Review test results; take corrective action as necessary:

Analyze component failures; recommend alternate components or design changes.
Develop software for system testing of appropriate testing units.
Perform software testing and verification.
Other duties/projects as needed.


Bachelors degree in Engineering or other Technical area.
Experience (including coursework/classroom experience) with LabView or more high level programming language (C/C , LabWindows/CVI).


Experience designing test plans and procedures
Experience in device verification and validation testing.
Experience or training in developing testing techniques and automated test tools Technical writing abilities.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage many tasks/projects simultaneously.
