Job Description

As a member of the scopes engineering team, your contributions will help bring the next generation of innovative oscilloscopes to market. Our development team environment places high value on technical adaptability and versatility. As a design engineer at Tektronix, you will be involved in all phases of the development process; from concept to product realization.

Responsibilities include:

- Turning marketing specifications into designs that meet customers cost, schedule and performance needs

- Board-level design of high speed analog and digital circuits using schematic capture and simulation tools

- Creating embedded software to configure and exercise electrical designs

- Collaborating with diverse engineering, scientific, and manufacturing disciplines to design, and deliver cost-effective, high-quality products to market


- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering, or currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering

- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment both as a leader and a follower

- Knowledge/experience with design simulation tools; for example, Finite Element, MATLAB, MathCAD, Spice

- Familiarity with schematic capture and layout tools for PCBA development

- Knowledge/experience with programming languages; for example, C, C#, Python, Ruby, VB


- Master's degree
