Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Applies fundamental engineering principles, procedures and techniques to perform well-defined electrical engineering assignments and routine system analyses following designated standards and procedures. This position typically works under close supervision and direction.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Supports basic design of digital, analog or radio frequency hardware. Develops and analyzes design of circuits. Obtains, correlates and analyzes technical information for designated products and/or customer applications. Reads, interprets and prepares data for engineering drawings. Performs circuit interconnections. Prepares test plans and conducts tests. Prepares engineering documentation. Assists in the writing of circuit or component specifications. Prepares reports, charts and graphs. Keeps informed of improvements in electrical engineering techniques.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS :

Four-year college degree in electronic engineering or related technical discipline. Effective written and oral communication skills. Ability to use typical office automation products such as word processors and spreadsheets. Mental ability to perform analytical work. Ability to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks and work under deadlines. Good interpersonal skills.
