Project Description :
Applies fundamental engineering principles for the development and exercise of test plans, test procedures and test reports. This position typically works under close supervision and direction.


Designs, develops and implements testing methods
Prepare test plans, test procedures using customer supplied documents. Conduct device and/or systems level testing using approved test procedures. Plans and arranges equipment and facilities required for testing and evaluating materials and devices. Perform computer programming tasks on automated test equipment. Assists in the development and maintenance of the Software Test Environment (STE). Work in a scrum team to understand design and requirements in order to write and execute test cases to verify the software meets the design and requirements


Four-year college degree in computer science, computer engineering or other related technical discipline. Basic software engineering knowledge to include: language, compilers, architecture, development, operating systems and test automation. One or more years experience testing enterprise software applications. Necessary computer skills include: Test Director, test automation tools, Jira, as well as, proficiency in MS Word, Excel and other MSOffice applications. Candidate must also: Be able to lift 50 pounds, have no medical limitations on amount of time that can be spent word processing or working at a computer terminal. Read and interpret engineering drawings and software design documents.
