In 2016 the Park District employed 436 employees. Of those 436 employees, 61 full time, 110 part time and 265 seasonal. With this seasonal employment number, the Crystal Lake Park District is one of the area's largest employers of teens.

 

The Crystal Lake Park District is the largest park district in McHenry County, Illinois with 17 facilities and 42 neighborhood parks with over 1400 acres of land.
