About Crista Ministries

CRISTA offers gift plans that make payments to you and save you taxes. Our life-income gifts feature one of the most attractive tax benefits that the IRS still provides: if you contribute appreciated securities or real estate to fund your gift, no upfront capital gains tax is applied to the appreciation. The entire amount of your contribution is thus put to help make payments to you now and provide support for CRISTA in the future. In addition, you'll receive an income tax deduction based on the portion of your gift deemed by law to be the charitable element. After the death of your beneficiaries, the balance remaining from your life-income gift contribution is applied to CRISTA program of your choosing.
