Job Description

6 month plus contract to hire position.

This is an immediate need. Ideal candidate will have 1-2 years IT support experience, AAS Degree in IT and strong customer service skills. Any A+ or Net+ certification is a plus.

Duties include: Supporting proprietary systems/software (Sterling, Genesis) that are web based running on a Linux/Unix platform. Experience executing scripts, command prompts, working with SQL, etc, is highly desired. The Sterling system is a customer order system for taking purchases from their customers and resolving any issues revolving around the order (printed ticket issues, tracking order issues, etc.)

Must have strong troubleshooting skills, customer service skills. Experience working with call management systems such as Remedy.

Candidates must be able to pass a 20 year criminal background check and drug screen.

Required Skills - Basic knowledge of:

o Active Directory

o UNIX/Linux - also any Scripting is a plus

o MS Office applications - Office 365 desired

o Point of Sales systems

Act as a single point of contact for several phone calls regarding IT issues

Receiving, logging and managing several phone calls Ability to listen and type simultaneously (40 words per minute) Ability to empathize Patience

Attentiveness Clear communication skills Ability to use "positive language" Goal oriented focus Ability to handle constant change

Willingness to learn Steadfast positive attitude

Candidates must pass a 20 year criminal background check
