Job Description

Responsibilities of the IT Intern may include:

* Contribute ideas to help the technology organization to be innovative and meet the company's business needs

* Assist with IT planning/analysis functions from a software development lifecycle perspective

* Develop tasks requiring the programming or scripting of new system functions using company provided development tools

* Test execution of programs using predefined business cases against a test environment for purposes of debugging code or system testing applications

* Document tasks requiring creation of written documents in support of system design and/or testing

* Works with IT teams to troubleshoot, update, maintain and repair desktop and laptop computers

* Assist engineering team with evaluating infrastructure related issues and analyzing security alerts

* Trouble shoot backend database systems that support business applications

Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:

* College student pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in a technology or business related discipline with a GPA of at least 3.0

* Strong basic computer skills and knowledge of desktop PC based systems and mobile devices

* Must possess excellent communication and organization skills; professional demeanor

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with dynamically changing priorities

* Strong analytical and problem solving skills

* Experience working independently and relying upon judgement in carrying out responsibilities

* Technical ability to work in a multi-platform environment

* Communication and teamwork skills
