Job Description

The Software Engineering Intern will be embedded on a team oftalented technologists to help engineer elegant solutions for complex businessproblems. As a member of an engineering team, you will beexposed to all aspects of the software development cycle. You willwork with experienced developers to help design and build robust cloudapplications for high-volume transaction web-based applications.

The intern will:

* Learn the platform's development infrastructure andhelp maintain it
* Help design, develop, and maintain cloud-basedweb applications to enhance the performance and reliability of our currentproducts
* Collaborate with developer team members on bestpractices, code reviews, internal tools and process improvements
* Engage in Agile practices
* Amazon Web Services (AWS), Java open-sourceecosystem
* Experience with languages and the softwaredevelopment life cycle: C/C , Java, MySQL, HTML, PHP, object oriented design,multi-threaded server-side, web application development experience
* Exposure to database technologies, logical andphysical data, object relational mapping.
* Ambition and passion, with the desire to apply yourfull intellectual intensity to challenges in our industry
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Thrives in a fast-paced team environment
* Pursuing BA/BS degree in Computer Science orrelated field
