Who we are looking for:

Manheim is looking for an eager Part Time Vehicle Repossession Agent who has a knack for cars and a yearning to be a part of a fast-growing automotive company. In this position, you will be responsible for repossession of vehicles as assigned by our customers for the auction. What you will do:

* Ability to receive repossession assignments from the auction
* Begin process of initiating repossession of vehicle
* Must be computer literate and able to communicate via email and our recovery data base
* Provide updates to auction within 24 hours of receiving assignments; follow with updates every 72 hours until the case has been resolved.
* Take pictures of vehicles as needed
* Complete condition reports as needed
* Attend monthly departmental meetings
* Record and turn in accurate time sheets in a timely matter
* Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor, i.e., driving vehicles through auction sale lanes on designated sale days.
* May be required to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as business needs dictate.


What you will need:

* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Previous repossession experience helpful.
* Previous law enforcement or security experience preferred
* Driver's License and safe driving record required. Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Minimum of 1-year clerical, office and/or customer service work experience preferred, including ten-key and computer data entry.
* Effective communication skills required. Must possess good problem-solving and organizational skills. Must be able to type 50 WPM. Must be knowledgeable in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

What to know:

* Constantly required to enter and exit vehicles.
* Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time. Ability to walk long distances. Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb. Ability to lift 1-15 pounds. Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
* Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
* Moderate noise level.
