Job Description

Building, supporting, and performance tuning offline and realtime systems for storing and processing data. Building data transformations using a distributed processing tool like Scalding or within Redshift. Building internal applications, including those used for business intelligence. Working directly on our site (frontend and backend) to help integrate our systems, setup tracking, and support data products.

Your Skills Shares our passion in education. Has a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in a related technical field. Has experience with big data processing tools (e.g., Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark). Has experience with web development. Is independent and excited about learning new technologies. Is proficient with two or more programming languages (ideally, one of Scala, Python, and JavaScript). Communicates technical concepts clearly and concisely in oral and written form.
