Corporate Account Development Intern - Spring 2020 (Santa Monica, CA)

Interns at CSOD will be able to drive innovation and change by collaborating and working with our team on real time projects. Depending on your educational background and interest, CSOD offers internships in the following departments: Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Software Development, Talent, Finance, Legal, Client Services, Graphic Design, Consumer Products and the CSOD Foundation.

While at our office headquartered in Santa Monica, CA you will be able to enjoy to our Yoga Center, Movie Theater, Arcade, Ping-Pong and foosball tables, Candy Wall and massage services. We also provide our team with free breakfasts, lunches and snacks to keep you fueled throughout the day.

What to expect

Requirements for all Interns

* Minimum 3.0 GPA
* Graduating college Senior or Graduate Student
* Available to work between 12 - 20 hrs per week
* Available January 20th, 2020 - April 10th, 2020
* Cool, smart, dependable and innovative

Position Description:

As an intern on our sales team, you will work closely with Cornerstone's Corporate Account Development representatives to source new client leads while gaining key insights into the sales process. You will conduct strategic research on accounts by identifying key business drivers and identify key players in order to generate new opportunities. The project would include using LinkedIn in order to identify decision makers and email them to articulate the CSOD business value proposition and set up meetings for the Regional Sales Managers. You will have an opportunity to work on assignments across all sectors of the CAD team learning about the Enterprise, Public Sector and ACE teams.

In this internship you will...

* Conduct strategic research on accounts to help identify key players and generate new business opportunities
* Email key contacts in prospect accounts to try and set up meetings with the Regional Sales Managers
* Maintain and update business contact information in Salesforce
* Run reporting and analysis in Salesforce and provide write up on findings
* Provide support to Account Management by identifying incremental opportunities for reps via Salesforce and Excel reporting
* Articulate the CSOD business value proposition to decision makers to assess buying interest
* Work on special projects depending on business needs across the Enterprise, Public Sector and ACE teams

* Working towards a Bachelor's degree from an accredited, 4-year university or equivalent experience
* Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
* Strong business acumen and analytical abilities
* An interest in a sales career after graduation
* Openness and ability to be coached
* Strong interpersonal skills and desire to learn all aspects of the sales prospecting lifecycle
* Hunter mentality
* Experience with Salesforce a big plus
