The group that you will support: You will support the Sr. Director, Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, along with other Quality Improvement and Patient Safety team members.You will facilitate the monitoring and tracking of all quality improvement and patient safety administrative items. Monitors the Sentinel Event Committee and Quality Improvement mailboxes and communicates with key clinical and operational stakeholders across the organization. The Requirements we ask of you in the role: Assist the Sr. Director, Quality Improvement and Patient Safety with various clerical and administrative tasks and projects.Manage and maintain the Sentinel Event Committee and Quality Improvement meeting schedules, coordinate, and schedule meetings (onsite/offsite, conference calls), appointments, travel arrangements, and process expense reports for the Sr. Director, Quality Improvement & Patient Safety.Facilitate the Jail and specified DOC Sentinel Event (SE) Review process between the Healthcare Support Team office and sites where the events occur.Manage, update and maintain the electronic and physical SE filing process.Accurately enter sentinel event and quality improvement data for monitoring into the MARSH ClearSight (STARS) database.Audit SE files for completeness. Manage the attestation process and communicate with site leaders to ensure that the events are reported. Develop reports as required.Review incoming SE & QI email boxes and e-faxes maintaining and updating the SE & QI database and tracking collection of SE & QI information to completion.Enter all SE Notifications into the database to open a SE file.Able to complete tracking of packages received and submitted in determination of completeness.Complete standard agendas and meeting minutes for sentinel event and quality improvement meetings.Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email. Sort and distribute mail from the designated mailbox to Quality Improvement & Patient Safety Dept. mailboxesResponsible for requests for additional information from the field and typing/sending SEC Feedback Forms.Maintain updates and maintenance of MyCorizon Quality Improvement and Patient Safety SharePoint pages. Organization and preservation of the quality improvement shared drive on a daily basis is required.Other administrative duties as assigned.
What we require of you: Education: High school diploma or equivalentExperience Level: 3 years of administrative experience. Understanding of Medical Terminology. Strong organizational skillsTools and Technology: Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word; internet research skillsExcellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to multi-task high priority projects simultaneouslyStrong verbal, written communication skills.
