Job Duties:

* Generally requires BS Degree in a business field or equivalent work experience
* Typically have 2-5 years of directly related experience
* Intermediate MS Software skills
* Working under general direction, the Professional, Business Analysis will partner with business departments to drive process improvement through seeking out and identifying opportunities, and business process definition by defining and documenting processes and procedures.
* Assess and document training needs, communicate existence of new process. Document business processes, training procedures, standard operating procedures, project status, etc.
* Oversees projects for business departments and/or acts as a liaison/strategic partner between company and government entities, vendors, corporations and other divisions to define business processes and/or generate, update and create various products and services.
* When new processes are identified, may hand off to Project Management Team for implementation.
* Must be able to understand business rules, work with varying data formats and develop metrics and audit procedures to monitor data quality.
* Understand, query and manipulate varying data and file formats. Identify, compare and resolve data quality problems. Evaluate business impact of specific data quality issues.
* Measure and audit large volumes of varying data for quality issues. Works with multiple groups, including overseas groups, to resolve issues.
* Manages daily interactions with business clients and reviews production, performance, quality, and service level agreements.
* Coordinates workflows and processes for the team with business clients, other teams, and internal resources.
* Creates queries, produces reports, and manipulates spreadsheets for management and client review.
* Resolves escalated issues, including executive escalation service, utilizing various resources. May work directly with client or management, both inside and outside of department, to resolve issues.
* Utilize tools to analyze, query and evaluate data according to defined business rules and procedures.
* Work with correct groups to correct all data quality errors, either with system tools or working with programmers.
* Takes the lead on business problems, to identify and implement solutions.
* Oversee projects for department. Partner with project manager, department management and IT Department for special project testing such as disaster recovery, system upgrades, tax transformation and other UAT. Identify and report issues/concerns that occur during testing. Recommend solutions to identified issues/concerns.
* Document business processes, training procedures, standard operating procedures, project status, business rules and data quality impacts, etc.
* Act as a subject matter expert and make recommendations regarding procedures, standards and metrics for data quality. May train team members on process changes.
