The ADAS Electrical Engineering Hardware Group is responsible for the engineering of transistor-level ASIC/ROIC designs, state-of-the-art photonics detectors, and integrated Printed Circuit Board (PCB) designs. At the Santa Barbara location, we are working on long and short-range LIDAR systems to support the autonomous driving industry.

We have the need of an intern who could assist in writing up and submitting Invention Disclosure Forms (IDFs) for our Patent Application Process.


The position requires an individual with excellent English writing skills, and with some form of technical training. The successful candidate will have the ability to organize technical material, and write/edit descriptions of new inventions with the assistance of senior engineering staff. Ability with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint are basic to this position, and a general interest in technology.

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

* Good communication, team and presentation skills
* Willingness to work in a distributed global team environment
* Minimum GPA of 2.8
* Must be actively enrolled in an accredited university degree program for the duration of the internship program
* Relocation or housing cost are not provided
* Visa sponsorship not provided
