Intern - Credit & Claims

Description

This Internship will be for a full year, selected candidate must be enrolled in school and able to work for a year. Preferred graduation December 2020 or 2021

In this internship you will be working within our Credit & Claims department.

Core responsibilities:

* Assist with the processing of Walmart claims which includes downloading spreadsheets, creating cash files, initiating accounting key outs, obtaining POD's from carriers websites.
* Assist with the retail fill program claims processing and new National Account tracking.
* Processing claims in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

* Actively enrolled in an accredited degree program working toward at least a Bachelor's degree
* At least a 2.8 GPA
* Able to work at least 25 hours per week.

Preferred Requirements:

* Degree focusing in Business Administration.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills specifically Excel
* Strong knowledge of Web Portals(companies websites)
* Strong organizational skills.

1905 Continental produces riveted anti-skid tires, a forerunner of steel-studded tires. 1907 The first edition of Continental's Road Atlas for motorists and motorcyclists is published. 1908 Continental invents the detachable rim for saloon cars - a remarkable innovation to help save time and effort when changing a tire. 1909 Specimens of synthetic rubber developed at the Bayer laboratories are successfully vulcanized at Continental and processed to make the first test tires. Louis Blériot, the pioneer aviator, makes his historic Channel flight. The fuselage and wings of his plane are covered with Continental's Aeroplan material. 1912 Construction of an administration building designed by architect Peter Behrens begins in Vahrenwalder Street. In 1986, this building is bought by the Hanover City Council to house a new technology center.
