What you'll do in this role:

As our new Credit Analyst, you will support the Commercial Lending department by providing analysis of all financial information received in conjunction with requests for financing. Since this is a level 2 position, you'll also provide leadership, supervisory coverage and mentoring to junior level analysts!

This important work includes:

* Using your organization and attention to detail skills to monitor commercial loan files to ensure the financial reporting requirements are met.
* Participating in the annual business loan review process, preparing credit presentations for submission to internal loan committee, and submitting credits for underwriting.
* Using Credit Quest for evaluating and trending the risk in the portfolio.
* Working with third parties, including accountants and regulators, in reviewing commercial credits and discussing/supporting loan risk ratings.
* Responding to member and staff questions about Commercial products and services.

What you'll need to join the team:

You'll bring a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Credit Analyst and a related college degree into this position.

Top 5 skills: Excellent communication, highly analytical, ability to manage time effectively, detail oriented and strong computer/reporting skills (Advanced skills in Excel required. Knowledge of Harland's Financial Analyzer is a plus!).
