Job Description

Connecticut Community Bank is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant in Norwalk, CT.

Qualifications required:

Associate Degree in business administration, or related field.

Minimum two years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant.

Windows 2010, Word, Power Point and Excel proficiency.

Qualifications desired:

Certified Administrative Professional.

Essential functions and responsibilities:

Maintain confidentially of all HR/ Payroll/ Benefit related matters.

Create documents using word processing, presentation and spreadsheet software applications HR/Payroll/Benefits Administrative Responsibilities.

Update and maintain: employee phone list; emergency contact list; organizational chart.

Assemble New Hire Binders.

Set up new employee files.

Employee file maintenance.

Update and maintain New Hire, Termination and Promotion Log monthly.

Complete paperwork for new hires and terminated employees.

Enroll/terminate employees from benefit plans as needed.

Assist Director HR/Training with annual Open Enrollment.

Manage self-identification; EEOC and I9 Forms.

Record Applications on Applicant Flow Log.

Prepare monthly and quarterly employee turnover reports.

Process requests for name/address changes.

Prepare annual vacation repayment forms and ensure completion by all employees.

Complete surveys and audits as necessary: annual compensation survey; DOL surveys; Medicare & Medicaid.

Attend job fairs with Director HR/Training.

Complete 401,000 mailings.

Complete annual vendor mailing.

Take minutes during meetings i.e. Employee Committee.

Proofing correspondence/documents for factual errors as well as correct spelling and grammar.

Assist Director HR/Training with All Employee Meeting and Holiday Party.

Assist Director HR/Training with the pick-up and delivery of donations.

Prepare ad hoc reports as requested.

Send files to retention as needed.

Scan files into DDS.

Complete HR Filing.

Participate in community service.
