Job Description

Technical Program Manager A2Z Development Center, Inc. - Irvine, CA. 

Position Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage technical program development of large-scale, distributed software applications, systems, platforms, services, and technologies using object oriented software (Java, JavaScript, Perl, HTML) throughout a complete software development lifecycle from design through release. Define projects, collect business requirements, coordinate deliverable schedules and write technical specifications. Drive software development efforts while managing priorities for project completion, including live service performance and operation tuning. Create schedules, identify and communicate risks to stakeholders, define risk mitigation strategies, and facilitate appropriate software engineering solutions. Manage cross-functional teams and/or third party-vendors for implementation of project and program requirements across multiple delivery phases.

Basic Qualifications:

Position Requirements:

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or as a Project Lead, Program Manager, Software Engineer, or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master's degree and two years of experience. One year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation must involve: managing cross-functional technical projects from design to release for large-scale software applications; 3rd party vendor management, release management, software application performance tuning; and working knowledge of object oriented programming using C++, C# or Java.
