Landscape Laborer 

70 Temporary full time positions (April 1, 2018 - November 30, 2018).

Job Location(s): Multiple worksites within the counties of Sarasota, Manatee & Charlotte FL. Perform landscaping duties using hand tools & equipment. Will lay sod, mow, trim, plant, water, fertilize, dig, rake & assist w/the install of sprinkler systems & mortals segmental concrete wall units. No experience required. Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds when required. Must pass pre-employment background check & drug test. Drug tests are also performed if there is suspicion of use & post work related accident. ArtisTree screens all seasonal & annual full-time applicants through drug tests & background checks. This includes domestic & H-2B visa employees. 40 hours per week. Four 10 hour work shifts a week. Hours 7 am-5:30 pm. Open 6-days a week. Saturday when need only.

Closed Sunday over time as needed only. Workers will be paid no less than $11.47 per hour. Returning workers & workers with more experience may be paid higher wage rates ranging between $11.47 - $11.75. Over time rates between $17.21 - $17.63 per hour. Paid weekly. Will use single workweek as standard for computing wages due. Housing: optional assisted employee housing may be available. Cost of housing is $75 weekly & paid through weekly payroll deductions. Employer will make all deductions from worker's paycheck required by law; optional assisted employee housing; & optional health insurance (prices vary based on plan chosen). Transportation & subsistence to the place of employment: If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation & subsistence by way of check, from the place of recruitment to the place of work.

Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation & subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment w/another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical & reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of $12.07 per day during travel to a max. of $51 per day w/receipts. Will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies & equipment required to perform the job.

Daily Transportation: Employer will provide transportation to workers who elect to stay at the optional assisted employee-housing location at no charge. All other workers are responsible for daily transportation to & from the designated pick-up location at the Venice office. Employer will then provide each work crew with daily transportation among the worksite locations at no charge.
