Job Description

Product Manager

Define, analyze and scope business and operational issues to improve operating efficiency, and reduce cost. Duties include: 

• Develop business operations and product data collection and analysis tools and periodically validate and reformulate the models to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Dig through data, gather clients’ feedback, collect information from management, sales, and engineers, and conduct research on key business drivers and market trends to identify opportunities for product and process improvement or to understand and scope the business problems. Evaluate the problems and find the most appropriate analytical framework to figure out the possible reasons; Leverage statistical software and programming languages such as R and Python to analyze and interpret the data queried from database to investigate into the problematic areas.

• Based on the company's strategy, available resources, and real-world situations, propose potential solutions to the problems and build advanced models to simulate the scenarios to evaluate the benefits and costs of each solution. Present the findings in charts and provide actionable insights in reports to summarize the problems, findings, and methodologies, and propose solutions to all levels of management for further actions.

• Involve relevant parties for internal discussion and decision-making; synthesize and prioritize action items based on the necessities of clients’ requirements and the company’s strategy and capacity to define the product roadmap; Spearhead the execution based on the product roadmap and support different teams, such as engineering, product design, marketing, sales.

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Operation Research, or related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a business operations research-related occupation.

• Experience must include executing quantitative analyses and advanced modeling.

• Full-time, 40 hours/week. 10% travel is required annually to headquarter in Beijing, China.
