Job Description

Emporia State University seeks an asst prof. Must have Ph.D. in mgmtfrom an AACSB-accredited school, & meet requirements for Scholarly Academic designation per AACSB faculty qualifications.Teaching/ industry exp in supply chain mgmt, opsmgmt, quantitative analysis,supervisory mgmt, HRmgmt, or int’l mgmt preferred. Duties: Teach 9-12 hours of mgmt classes per semester (including face-to-face, online, hybrid, eve/day on any campus or site) using variety of teaching styles; Ensure student progress through assessment & feedback; Communicate with students as needed via e-mail, virtual chat, phone, face-to-face etc.; Refer students to university services as needed; Maintain office hrs; Submit records of student performance; Develop, prep& evaluate instructional materials & syllabi w/ other faculty; Propose & develop new courses; Participate in course scheduling, program review processes, & assessment of student learning outcomes; Attend req’dmeetings; Serve on committees; & Participate in commencement.
