Job Description

Junior Business Analyst

Duties and responsibilities

* Execute CAI's best-practices application-support methodology
* Work effectively in a team environment
* Gather, review, modify and recommend business requirements for application enhancements and information technology projects
* Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer goals are achieved
* Utilize tools and techniques standard to business analysis
* Provide support to end users to resolve functional issues.
* Perform testing as needed
* Perform/execute functional processes in support of the business

Experience/Education - Required:

* Experience/education as a Business Analyst or in a similar role

Experience/Education - Preferred:

* Prior experience with State Government
* Prior experience with financial systems
* Prior experience with FLAIR financial system
* Prior experience as part of an application-support team

-Required Skills:

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Highly self-motivated and directed.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Physical Demands:

* Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
* Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
* Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
