Job Description

Community Action Against Addiction (CAAA) is an outpatient medication assisted treatment facility providing services to women and men struggling with opioid addiction. CAAA is located in Cleveland, Ohio, and has been serving the Greater Cleveland communities since 1971.

Due to the growing heroin epidemic, there is a demand to provide services to individuals suffering from this addiction. CAAA is seeking LCDCIII's, LICDC's, LSW's, LISW's, LPC's, and LPCC's experienced with AOD and Mental Health treatment to serve as counselor on our team.

Counselors must have a minimum of three years' experience in AOD counseling, preferably with dually diagnosed clients. Counselors must have good interpersonal skills with clients, co-workers, other staff members and with the general public. Counselors should have basic skills with Microsoft windows and office programs. Counselors should have excellent written and communication skills and be familiar with abstinence and the 12-Step Model of substance abuse treatment.

Counselor's responsibilities will include but not limited to individual counseling sessions, developing progress notes, treatment plans, and 90-day reviews and some case management services.
