Support the quantitative and manager research team with report/material production, database maintenance and analysis: Produce quarterly profiles, attribution reports, client presentations and other research materials for clients. Maintain menus and databases (such as the open architecture network directory). Set up new mutual funds and serve as first-line contact with the Commerce mutual fund operations group. Prepare reports, attend committee meetings, and work with senior analysts in gathering fund research. Perform downloads from Morningstar Direct. Prepare analysis and present to committees. Respond to routine inquiries from portfolio managers. Assist in other manager research and administrative activities as required. Bachelor's Degree in finance, business, or other related area. Willingness to prepare for CFA exams. CFA candidates preferred.

Experience/Other Qualifications:

Keen interest in investments, investment strategies, and manager research. High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, internet navigation. Familiarity with Morningstar Direct and/or Morningstar.com preferred. High math aptitude. Attention to detail and focus on accuracy. Good written and oral communication skills. Strong emphasis on being a team player. Clayton location.
