Business Unit:


Provides business intelligence support to the State & Local Tax group for state income and transaction tax compliance and state audits. Will utilize combination of both business and information systems background to collect data, perform analysis, develop and maintain databases and write reports. Should be highly comfortable with high volumes of data and detail oriented. Works well with large number of team members in a very fast paced and deadline oriented environment. Should have excellent organization, written and verbal communications and time management skills.

Core Responsibilities:

* Supports State & Local Tax team by developing and maintaining SQL databases with large volumes of data for tax compliance and audits.
* Writes reports and provides data analysis with trending and fluctuation metrics.
* Thoroughly documents and tests the procedures in the databases.
* Works with internal departments to obtain necessary financial and billing data for state tax compliance and audits.
* Works with third party consultants, legal and accounting firms to provide data related requests.
* Will provide output in Tableau, Excel or other software format as needed by the team.
* Learn about the business, financial systems and billing systems and how they are linked. Suggest solutions when there is a challenge in obtaining the necessary data for requested tasks.
* Must be flexible to work overtime during busy compliance season or during high priority deadlines.
* Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent

Field of Study: Business and Information Systems

Years of Experience: Generally requires 1-3 years related experience
